"Inner Light, Nurturing & Growth" - Heart Songs Weekly Wisdom: Week 14-21 June 2020
Enjoy - Inner Child - Share - Feelings
As we move towards the shortest day of the year (21st), the Winter Solstice and the interesting energies it brings with it: of looking for the light within; self-care & nurturing; stillness; rest; balance; contentment within; we are guided to:
love and nurture our inner child and to have the courage to listen to our inner voice. This encourages us to stay true to our Divine Self and to “Dance, sing, laugh and enjoy life...Now!”
Remember, as has been stated before - ‘our greatest gifts come from our greatest wounds’, so strive towards being a healthy person - emotionally, physically and mentally, and share this with all others you come into contact with with love, light, understanding & compassion.
14. ENJOY LIFE: "Dance, sing, laugh and enjoy life. The time is Now! Sometimes forever is too far away."
Life is happening all around us while we're not paying attention. So, we can make the choice to participate and be present, enjoying the moment or we can think and act on purely what we think could happen (or not) in the future.
This can be a very human thing to do, as there is the consideration of having security and shelter for the years ahead. However, we do need to allow for some play, and some balancing of all the seriousness of those prospects right here and ‘Now’!
'Dance, laugh, sing and enjoy life'! This doesn't mean you need to spend all your savings to be entertained. It simply suggests you need to allow these things to be present in your life. It could mean a gathering with good friends, sharing a game of scrabble and having fun or it could be taking a belly dancing class! It is something that allows your creativity to blossom and that feeds your soul.
Dance with your inner child and enjoy life. ‘The time is Now'!
32. INNER CHILD: "Love yourself, especially the inner child. It is this child that you need to nourish and allow to grow and blossom."
Our inner child can be our strongest ally. The child within and the memories it has is what plays out the theatre of its life.
If there has been hurt, disappointment or neglect in the past, these feelings need to be healed. So, loving ourselves and paying attention to our inner child and the nourishing needed of our soul is a revelation and a turning point for each one of us.
As one hurt or wound heals a growth spurt occurs on an inner level, on our subconscious level, which allows us to shut the door on the hurts. In time, we learn to understand, communicate and deal with the behaviours and/or attitudes that affect us.
If someone can hand you a key to self-growth, why shouldn't it be your closest self, your inner child? Each door opened can be explored with the insight offered and in time the blossoming of your true, beautiful Self will be glowing for all to see.
I felt I needed to choose two (2) more cards to add further clarification to the week’s message, and they are:
10. SHARE: "Live life through your heart and remember to share with others. This allows the true meaning of kindness and compassion to evolve and be understood."
Sharing and kindness go hand in hand, especially when we open our hearts and see that others may be in need.
A small gesture, is received as a major kindness when it is offered with love as the compassion also shared at this special moment is recognised by all.
Be mindful of your actions and take the time to be sharing of yourself, if appropriate, and experience the feeling that you receive in return. The feeling is unmistakable and it will alert you to new opportunities in which you can live life through your heart.
17. FEELINGS: "A smile, a touch and a look all punctuate your inner most feelings. Although unspoken, all is understood."
Much is conveyed through our actions. We can also tune into our intuitions for more information. A conversation can be an exchange between people, however it may not reach the true essence of what is needing to be discussed.
Pay attention for the signs in other ways to complete the information being conveyed. It could open up a whole new world of communication for you and allow a clearer understanding as you read between the lines.
Between close friends and/or partners there may also be deeper understanding of the truth as you see it or know it.
Moving forward with a new state of being and future we need to continue to reflect, to discuss and to participate in a more creative and interactive life. All activities we invited into our lives to help us cope with an unknown and difficult period have become valuable. In most cases they delivered quality and enjoyment back into our lives in a much more ‘real’ and ‘soulful’ way and allowed our ‘inner child’ to be heard and our ‘souls’ to be fed in the old-fashioned way: weekends at home playing board games; afternoon walks enjoying nature; meaningful conversations; long cups of tea and lots of cake. The ‘work-life’ balance we have all needed is making it’s way back into our lives in a more realistic way.
So, trust your intuition in all that you do, especially interacting with family, friends and others. Always come from a place of love and kindness and you will notice the feeling of contentment within and radiating outwardly as you continue to grow your spiritual self & awareness.
Blessings and love for the week to come.
